Last month, in a VIVE TALK session, HTC VIVE introduced a virtual reality (VR) behavioural training solution that helps individuals with public speaking by placing users in a virtual environment – like a stage – with digital humans.
HTC VIVE’s immersive training platform integrates the firm’s lineup of VR wearables to place a user within a realistic environment that stimulates the gradual adaptation of an audience to battle a user’s social anxiety.
During the VIVE TALK session, the firm explained:
VR is especially effective in public speaking training for two reasons. Firstly it provides ultra-realistic environments, and secondly, it enables true-to-life interaction between the speaker and audience.
Users can access HTC VIVE’s public speaking training service through officially supported VR collaboration applications.
HTC’s VIVE TALK is a hub of online resources that includes sessions covering its VIVEVERSE platform, enterprise use cases, hardware, software, and the portal hosts “Good Vibes”, an extended reality (XR) podcast produced by HTC VIVE.
Immersive training solutions provide many avenues for enterprise-grade use cases. Companies such as Moth + Flame, Axon, and Igloo Vision distribute XR training platforms to enterprise customers that ready a workforce before entering a frontline environment.
Additionally, XR immersive learning solutions from Moth + Flame and Axon enable enterprise clients to deploy enhanced behavioural training to improve relations between workers and clients.
VIVEVERSE
HTC VIVE provides various enterprise-grade collaboration services under its VIVEVERSE umbrella of immersive applications – due for release in 2023.
The VIVEVERSE is a Metaverse service which unifies various VR experiences in one virtual world. At this year’s Mobile World Conference, HTC Co-Founder and Chairperson Cher Wang confirmed that her firm is developing an ethical Metaverse, following global efforts to create a safe digital space from key XR firms like Meta and Unity.

VIVEVERSE enables the distribution of immersive applications and experiences for HTC VIVE headset owners. Also, the service supports cross-platform delivery for desktop and mobile users.
HTC VIVE developed the service as an open-source product that integrates various options, including integrated NFT and cryptocurrencies.
HTC is developing the Reign Core 5G solution to support its Metaverse ambitions, which delivers 3D data items across devices with low latency.
