Hey guys! Happy to connect today and learn more about homeua.io! Can you tell us more about the founding of the project and what the problem is that you were addressing?
Could you please give us a rundown of the most important things about homeua.io?
Homeua.io is a project that was launched in June 2022, working with a number of businesses and charitable foundations to raise funds for building a modular town for Ukrainians who lost their homes during the war. With over 6 million Ukrainian refugees internally displaced, Ukrainians have struggled to put their skills to use by providing the necessary shelters and accommodations.
So going forth into 2022 and beyond, how will homeua.io make an impact in the crypto space, or on the world?
This summer we are planning to release our first NFT collection to enhance our fundraising efforts and complete the construction of the town while the season is still favorable for building houses. There are 10 000 NFTs to be released by the end of July. 100 NFTs equals one modular home for four people. Hence, the collection will help us to build more than 100 modular units during summer/autumn 2022. The modular town of Homeua.io will allow us to accommodate 400 people. We also develop some gamification mechanics, so the future holders of NFT will be able to be involved directly, with the possibility of choosing ways for their impact in the creation of settlements.
Now, could you tell us about your accomplishments so far, and in the history of thomeua.io, please tell us what you are most proud of.
We have only started. On the 100th day of the war in June, we launched our project with the commitment of constructing 100 modular houses. It was a very symbolic start about the numbers, but all our team wants to exceed that number. We were able to build our first houses in June, so several families have already moved in.
Currently, when the cryptocurrency market falls down, we think it is important for all of us to participate in projects with real impact as well as invest in stable projects. As our project is directly connected with the construction of homes for internally displaced Ukrainians, we are presenting this type of fiducial activity. Each holder of our HomeUA NFT will be added to our DAO system and will have the opportunity to choose the design decisions of homes. We plan to integrate some other facilities for holders as well.
Speaking about the global impact, we need to face the fact that it is important to stabilize the situation with Ukrainian refugees, as this war influenced the whole world. More than a million Ukrainians arrived in Poland alone, with hundreds of thousands more arriving in the United States and Canada. HomeUA is giving everyone the opportunity to help Ukrainians in their homeland. Help them obtain their new homes.
Now, give us a quick rundown of the future of homeua.io. For example, what new things are you seeking to bring to life and what will it mean for the overall project?
Home.io wants to attract attention to the issue of those who have been displaced and have lost their homes. When Ukraine was attacked in February, many businesses and individuals relocated to the country’s west. And it quickly became clear that there was a housing shortage to house everyone who fled the war. Because our team’s primary focus prior to the war was video production, we also encountered a lack of accommodations. It made everyone on the team start looking for ways to help people who had fled the war find new places to live.
Tell us about your team. Who’re the people behind the screens?
Our project unites several video production and creative studios.
We are a team of more than 10 creators led by Stefania Soloviova, who serves as CEO of the project and at the same time, she is a producer at Naos studio. Olexandr Butenko is the art director of Homeua.io and responsible for the development of the NFT collection, including further gamification mechanics. LEO States, a collaboration of Ukrainian businesses that appeared at the start of the war to cover construction work for homes in western Ukraine, is also supporting the project.
Which partnerships have homeua.io engaged so far, and which ones are the most impactful?
We get support from Binence cryptocurrency exchange platform and will make a relies of HomeUA NFT collection at the end of July. In addition, we have been working with a number of businesses and state organizations. We are unable to reveal this collaboration at this time, but we will make an announcement soon across all of our social networks.
