Hey folks ???? great to meet you. My name is Brady Gentile; I’m a contributor of the Hedera project (EVM, open source, public L1 network).
I’m sourcing product / developer feedback for a JSON-RPC implementation (enables Truffle, Hardhat, Ethers, etc.) on Hedera — our goal is to create an incredible developer experience for building Smart Contract applications on the network using the most ubiquitous tooling and libraries.
For helping out, you’ll receive a nominal $200 USD in $HBAR for your graciousness; we hope you’ll play around with dApps in DeFi, NFTs, etc. ecosystems — some really great communities around SaucerSwap & Zuse Market, for example.
Thanks so much for your help and I look forward to meeting everyone ???? you can find me on Twitter at @bmgentile; please let me know if you have any questions or need support.

???? Background
We recently announced the open-source JSON-RPC Relay for Hedera, making it easy for Ethereum developers to build applications on Hedera using familiar web3 libraries, development tools, and wallets. With the launch of Smart Contracts 2.0 on Hedera, application developers can combine the full programmability offered by EVM-based smart contracts with native fungible & non-fungible tokens (mapped to ERC-20, 721, & 1155 standards) configured and minted using the Hedera Token Service.
For developers to utilize the relay, Swirlds Labs released a beta implementation called Hashio. It lets you make RPC calls to the Hedera network and run EVM-based applications. Developer tools, such as Hardhat, Truffle, Web3.js and Ethers, as well as Metamask, can be used with the relay — tools available to use with the relay can are found here.
✍️ Feedback
We’re looking for feedback from Ethereum developers who’ve never used Hedera about their experience with Hashio to build EVM-based applications on Hedera. Please fill out the form below with as much detail as possible — we appreciate your help! ????
