Dust Labs hopes to start bridging NFTs in the first quarter of 2023.
Dust Labs, a non-fungible token (NFT) software company known for its projects DeGods and y00ts, is planning to start bridging its NFT projects on Ethereum and Polygon blockchains.
According to the announcements shared on the projects’ Twitter accounts on December 25th, the bridging on different blockchains will start in the first quarter of 2023.

It is worth noting that DeGods will be bridging to Ethereum, while y00ts – to Polygon.
After each post, the teams behind both projects left identical messages claiming that further details about the bridge would be shared when “it’s ready & tested” with the detailed roadmaps shared in January.
This has never been done before at this scale. We want to make sure that it’s airtight.
The creator behind DeGods and y00ts, Rohun Vora (known as Frank III), revealed that the decision to move NFT projects to Polygon or Ethereum was made to “explore new opportunities” and growing collections.
Nevertheless, Vora highlighted that Dust Labs’ native token, DUST, will be bridged onto Ethereum and Polygon.
In the Twitter Spaces interview on December 26th, Vora stated that with the move, he wants to bring NFT projects on the platforms that he believes will bring a new wave of NFT adoption.
Rohun Vora claimed that the choice to bring the NFT project to Polygon was influenced by other major players, such as Nike, Disney and Adidas, selecting Polygon as their NFT platform of choice.
Polygon by far was one of the lowest , if not the lowest in terms of dollar value, but we went with Polygon because we see a lot of opportunity on a strategic level and that’s what excites me and should excite you holders more than anything.
At the time of writing, the floor price for DeGods NFT is 695 SOL (around $7,600). In comparison, y00ts floor price is 215 SOL (approximately $2,350).
