Influencer Logan Paul has apologized and dropped threats of a defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla, who had released a three-part investigation into Paul’s as-yet-unlaunched non-fungible token (NFT) game, CryptoZoo.
The investigation labeled the project as a scam and claimed that a convicted felon and a con artist were among those hired to work on it.
In a video, Paul told Coffeezilla to “get a good lawyer.” However, on Discord, Paul later admitted that his response was “rash and misaligned with the true issue at hand” and apologized.
CryptoZoo, which allows players to buy eggs for tokens that can be hatched into animals and crossbred for rewards, has faced several issues, including the theft of its code and the removal of millions of dollars from its funds. The value of the game’s ZOO token has fallen by more than 99%.
