Gala Games launches the ‘Desperate Measures’ event in Mirandus, challenging players to tackle a chaotic force and win rewards, including $GALA tokens and rare artifacts.
The virtual world of Mirandus, a popular MMORPG by Gala Games, is facing a new peril. A young alchemist’s ill-fated experiment to heal a blighted forest has unleashed a chaotic force, threatening to corrupt the land further. This event, titled ‘Desperate Measures’, is set to challenge adventurers from September 25th at 19:00 UTC to September 29th at 19:00 UTC, requiring them to combat this expanding threat.
Event Details and Challenges
Participants must gather ‘Chaotic Traces’ left by the failed alchemy to ascend the leaderboard. Players can also purchase a Desperate Measures Mystery Chest for $24.99, offering a chance to acquire one of three exclusive artifacts from the alchemist’s journey: Lysandra’s Stirring Rod (Uncommon), Lysandra’s Pestle (Rare), and Lysandra’s Mortar (Epic). These items provide in-game bonuses, and equipping all three unlocks additional benefits.
Rewards and Leaderboard
The event features a leaderboard with a total prize pool of 128,200 $GALA tokens, distributed among the top 250 players. The goblin adversaries have evolved, spreading chaotic energy uniformly across all ranks, presenting a more complex challenge. The top-ranked player will receive 16,400 $GALA, while rewards continue down to the 250th position.
Additional Features
Players without an Exemplar character can still participate using Hollows, ensuring inclusivity for newcomers. Additionally, post-event, players will gain an Alchemy Mastery bonus when any of Lysandra’s artifacts are in their inventory, enhancing their future gameplay experience.
