Michael Saylor is chairman & former CEO of MicroStrategy, a Nasdaq-listed business intelligence firm that is popular in the crypto space for its Bitcoin holdings. Under the leadership of Saylor, this company started buying Bitcoin with the vision to make Microstrategy a Bitcoin millionaire company.
On 15 Dec 2024, Michael Saylor said that the Microstrategy Bitcoin buy graph needed a more green dot. Indirectly he hinted that his company purchased Bitcoin & soon will disclose it publicly.
In the last few months, Saylor hinted at a big Bitcoin amount purchase with similar hints and every time Microstrategy announced the purchase of a big stash of Bitcoin.
Currently, Microstrategy holds a total of 423,650 BTC at an average cost of $58,219 per Bitcoin with a total cost of $23.41 billion. With this holding, this business intelligence firm has an unrealised gain of $19.34 billion.
Saylor keeps promoting Bitcoin in his 24-hour social media activity. Today, he posted an AI-generated image of him and said that he will meet with all those Bitcoin haters on the moon. Indeed, here, Saylor indirectly created fomo among non-Bitcoin investors.
