It’s them being confused, don’t worry.
The Internet of Things and NFTs used as tokens of recognition of what people own isn’t new. Even, the Intenet of Things for crypto started several years ago with chains that wanted to be used specifically by Internet of Things devices. It was Nano, with their Internet of Nano Things. It didn’t catch much attention, back then.
Here, they’ve just claimed these physical objects are tied to a Metaverse through NFTs, except that a Metaverse is supposed to define a fictional world (sometimes close to ours, sometimes not), not just a network that stores the data of who owns what among what’s been produced by IP protected manufacturers.
Though, I’m confused by their first paragraph. Are they really people who dream of such a thing?
